the truth of it:
I am a mom. I know Iām lucky to be one because of the many struggles to get here. I love being a mom, but it is not always easy physically, emotionally or mentally. Those early years were the hardest. My fertility journey consisted of many struggles over many years. I get it. This is tough. This is the stuff most people have no idea you are going through, let alone want to talk about. My personal experience has led me to my career. I have experienced first-hand the powerful ways counseling & EMDR can change lives, help you feel like yourself again and bring peace.
school & career:
I completed my bachelors at John Carroll University and a masters from Xavier University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Much of my 15 year career has been working with teens and adults through mental health therapy, vocational rehabilitation, parent coaching and disability services.
i believe:
The obstacles of life are scary and painful, so it helps to have a companion along the journey who can help you see yourself in a different way. I believe growth, change and peace are always possible, but sometimes you need help to move in that direction.
